Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) have a multitude of funding avenues. Prior to requesting funding through UWSMPH Medical Student Association (MSA), RSOs must have made a good-faith effort to obtain funding through the following sources:

1. ASM

2. Departmental Funding

Once funding has been exhausted from the above sources, MSA may disburse WMAA funding in an impartial manner with the goal of benefiting the student body, as a whole, to explore interests, develop new skills, learn about career prospects, or to become involved in the community. Funding will be allocated in a not-for-profit manner. Funding may not benefit individuals - whether they are members of the organization or otherwise (gifts, study materials, subscriptions, tips, etc.)

Requests for funding that do not meet these criteria may be denied. Funding is based on availability; requests for funding through MSA may be denied. Funding limits may change without notice during the semester based on the availability of WMAA funds.
